Caucasion men dating asian women

Anti-Asian tirades don’t seem to have much of an effect. For instance, recently I googled for phrases like “Asians stealing our men”, which made for some particularly enjoyable reading.

The most hilarious one was on a neo nazi forum (nope, won’t link to it), where those nazi women were complaining that Asian girls were stealing “their men”.

Unfortunately, this kind of gender racism will continue unless we see Asian men in leading romantic roles.

The most prominent one I can recall was Jet Li's character in the 2000 movie, "Romeo Must Die" where he was initially to kiss the late Aaliyah but the ending was re-scripted to a hug when producers feared mainstream American audiences would find the kiss too uncomfortable.

Sure some may work out, hit the weights and look strong but they lament that women do judge a book by its cover.

In essence, they find this world of online dating extremely limiting because of the limits placed on them by America's standard of beauty.

This is quite similar to how we’re all losers because we’re not “strong enough to date single moms”. If you can have either A or B, and you deliberately pick A, then it’s because you prefer that option.

Women who have no Asian male friends or interactions are limited to societal and media portrayal of Asian men which isn't flattering.

Remember, it was just January of this year when comedian Steve Harvey joked about how no one would want to date Asian men.

There is even a Tumblr blog that compiles messages from “creepy white guys with Asian fetishes.” Yellow fever was also depicted in Debbie Lum’s documentary, Seeking Asian Female, which takes a close look at relationships between white men and Asian women.

So the real question is not whether white men have a preference for Asian women, but why? Some argue that it’s because Asian women are more docile, submissive, and tame than their raucous and outgoing Caucasian counterparts.
